Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) at Vention…

You’ll craft exceptional digital experiences across our platform — from 3D machine design to automation and real-time operation. Working within a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and product managers, you’ll shape intuitive, elegant, and high-performing interfaces that help thousands of manufacturers worldwide bring ideas to life.

We’re looking for a designer who combines deep user-experience thinking with strong visual craft, system design expertise, and an obsession with clarity and usability.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll lead design for key workflows in our 3D MachineBuilder, shaping how users design and assemble automation equipment.
• You’ll simplify complex technical workflows into clear, intuitive, and cohesive digital experiences.
• You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to define problems, run research, and validate solutions.
• You’ll deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI using Figma.
• You’ll contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure quality, consistency, and speed across all Vention products.
• You’ll participate in user research and usability tests, leveraging insights to drive design decisions.
• You’ll present and explain your design rationale clearly, grounded in user needs and business objectives.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for skills, intellect, and experiences that will help you succeed in this role but we also know that various profiles (not only the one described below) could be successful. If you’re excited about what you read and think you’d be a great fit, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every single qualification.

You’ll bring:

• 4–7 years of product design experience, with at least part of it focused on software products beyond websites.
• Portfolio that demonstrates strong UX problem-solving, interaction design, and UI craft.
• Experience designing complex tools or applications (ideally 3D, CAD, engineering, or assembly environments).
• Strong ability to structure, simplify, and communicate complex systems.
• Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, execution-driven environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with 3D/CAD tools (SolidWorks, Onshape, Rhino, Unity, Unreal, etc.).
• Knowledge of manufacturing, automation, or technical workflows.
• Familiarity with design-to-code workflows and developer handoff practices.
