About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to expand our service offering in Ontario. You will be the first point of contact with business leaders of companies generating $10M+ in annual revenue across Ontario and beyond. Your mission is to identify companies with upcoming CAPEX projects and guide them into exploratory discussions about government funding opportunities. This is a full‑cycle outbound role, and your outreach and qualification skills will directly impact our growth in Ontario. This position is fully remote within Ontario.
Responsibilities
• Proactively reach out to business leaders in Ontario via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.
• Book and lead exploratory calls to understand their business priorities and upcoming investments.
• Identify CAPEX projects (e.g., digital transformation, growth, expansion, innovation).
• Qualify grant and subsidy opportunities for each business.
• Collaborate with the sales and consulting teams to transition qualified leads.
• Share feedback and contribute to improving our outbound strategy, especially for Ontario.
What You Bring
• 1–3 years of experience in sales development or prospecting.
• Confidence in outbound outreach and a love for cold calling.
• Curiosity, structured approach, and an ability to quickly grasp business needs.
• Organized, goal‑driven, and motivated by results.
• Bonus: knowledge or interest in public funding or government grants; bilingual in French and English (English is essential); experience with HubSpot or another CRM; previous B2B sales experience with small or mid-sized businesses.
