Through our platform indexing more than 3,500 federal, provincial and municipal programs, we help companies identify the best financial opportunities and plan investment projects over a 12 to 36 month horizon.

The role

We are looking for an Account Executive to manage qualified opportunities outside Quebec. This role is fully focused on consultative sales: you will work closely with business owners and executive teams to understand their projects, build a realistic funding roadmap, and guide them toward the right helloDarwin engagement.

The role starts after SDR qualification and ends with a structured handoff to the consulting / delivery team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead funding diagnostic meetings with business owners and executive teams.
  • Understand clients’ investment projects, business priorities and constraints.
  • Present a structured funding plan (12 to 36 months) and position helloDarwin’s offers accordingly.
  • Actively manage follow-ups after the diagnostic through proposal signature and first client payment.
  • Create quotes in HubSpot in line with internal pricing rules and approval processes.
  • Present proposals, address objections and close deals.
  • Coordinate with the billing team for contract signature and payment.
  • Ensure a clear and structured handoff to the Account Manager / delivery team.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate and predictable pipeline in the CRM.

About you

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales or professional services.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic conversations with senior decision-makers.
  • Comfortable managing structured sales cycles, including follow-up, prioritization and closing.
  • Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot or equivalent) and defined sales processes.
  • Strong communication and explanation skills.
  • English fluency required; French is an asset but not required.
  • Autonomous, organized and team-oriented.
