Reports to: Parts Manager/Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Parts Inventory Management:
    • Quote, order, receive, organize, and store incoming parts and materials in designated storage areas.
    • Track inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure adequate supply for production.
  2. Parts Distribution:
    • Deliver parts and materials to production lines as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Operate motor vehicles, forklifts, or other equipment for parts transportation.
  3. Documentation and Tracking:
    • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts using inventory management systems.
    • Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality against purchase orders or production needs.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all workplace safety procedures, including safe lifting techniques and equipment handling protocols.
    • Ensure the proper storage of hazardous materials, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.
  5. Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to address parts shortages or urgent requests.
    • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged parts, incorrect parts or other supply issues promptly.
  6. Support Production Goals:
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining clean and efficient storage areas.
    • Ability to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
  • Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
  • Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Location: Must be able to commute to Mississauga, Ontario.
  • Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
