We build connected hardware powered by droplet microfluidics to automate cell line engineering in primary cells. We are accelerating the pace of discovery by seamlessly executing full-stack gene editing workflows at scale. What we're looking for
Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail orientated scientist with deep expertise in immunology to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in genetic engineering of mammalian systems to implement and perfect gene editing pipelines for application on our microfluidics device. The scientist will also work closely with our engineering team to shape the development of the microfluidics device itself across various mammalian cell types and applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of application related to immune cells on our system
- Be hands on at the bench, and develop and train junior scientists
- Maintain expertise on alternate methods, techniques and best practices used in the field gene editing and cell therapy
Qualifications
- A recent PhD in Immunology or related field that included 5+ years of expertise in working with immune cells
- Deep expertise in culturing and performing assays with a wide variety of established and primary mammalian cell lines
- Expertise in performing high throughput screens
- Excellent data analysis and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communicator
Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a startup environment
