Role Overview
The Senior Employee Relations Partner (Fixed-Term) is a temporary role created to support increased Employee Relations demand and ensure business continuity. This position will partner closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Legal to conduct internal HR investigations and ensure the fair, respectful, and consistent treatment of employees in alignment with F5 behaviors, values, and policies.
This role provides deep expertise in employee relations, investigations, and performance management across all levels of the organization and serves as a steward of F5’s employment policies and practices in the handling of sensitive matters.

Primary Responsibilities
Conduct HR investigations, including fact gathering, analysis, documentation, and recommendations; partner with internal employment counsel as needed
Maintain accurate and complete ER and investigation documentation
Provide consultation, coaching, and guidance to leaders and HRBPs on employee behavior, performance concerns, and corrective actions
Interpret and apply company policies, employment law, and regulations to ER matters
Educate leaders and HRBPs on proactive ER practices, performance management, feedback delivery, and inclusion
Identify trends and drive training, systems, and process improvements
Lead or support special ER-related projects as needed
Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report violations as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, preferably in a technology company
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Ability to advise leaders at all levels without direct authority
Comfortable operating independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and change
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Strong knowledge of applicable federal and state employment and labor laws
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of HR or investigations experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Standard office environment with computer and phone use
Periodic on-call availability and work outside normal business hours may be required

The annual base pay for this position is: $123,200.00 - $184,800.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
