As a member of the Data Classification and Protection product team, this engineering role will define and develop software features that allow our customers to detect and secure their networks against data exfiltration. Integrating this technology into core F5 products like NGINX and BIG-IP as well as finding novel ways to apply data security to customer problems is the bread and butter of this team.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Creating compelling user experiences using Javascript, CSS, React and many other technologies.
Collaborating with teammates on design and review of feature implementations.
Working with product management and designers to understand customer problems and define solutions to those problems.
Pairing with other technical teams on the integration of data security technology into other products.
Writing and documenting features you create to give the best experience possible to our customers.

Technical Acumen: Excellent UI programming skills utilizing React based frameworks, Javascript, Typescript, and CSS. A solid track record of delivering customer focused features of the highest quality. Ability to design and create implementations from scratch.

Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent professional experience
Extensive hands-on experience working with Linux and/or other Unix variants.
Outstanding coding proficiency using front end technologies such as Javascript, CSS, React, etc.
Experience with container and orchestration technologies and runtimes - Docker, k8s
Strong trouble-shooting skills
Some understanding of http, tls protocols.

The annual base pay for this position is: $137,600.00 - $206,400.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
