Role Summary
F5 Digital is building the enterprise AI muscle that will power the next generation of intelligent, secure, and scalable internal platforms. We are seeking a Product Manager II to help define and deliver F5’s Enterprise AI and Agentic AI platform strategy.
This role will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of an enterprise-grade AI platform that enables agent development across F5. The Product Manager will partner closely with the Gemini team, Digital engineering, Security, Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a secure, observable, and scalable AI ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with hands-on AI fluency, understands enterprise platform thinking, and thrives in ambiguity while driving measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise AI Platform Strategy
Define and execute the product vision for F5’s enterprise AI platform, enabling reusable AI services and agentic workflows across the organization.
Partner with Gemini and internal AI teams to align roadmap, architecture, and integration strategy for agent development at scale.
Drive platform capabilities that support no-code, low-code, and pro-code agent creation for business and technical users.
Product Ownership & Execution
Own and prioritize the AI platform backlog, balancing business impact, technical feasibility, governance requirements, and developer experience.
Lead Agile delivery across cross-functional teams including engineering, security, architecture, and data.
Translate AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, MCP, observability, guardrails) into clearly defined epics and features with measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work across Sales, Global Services, Engineering, Product, and Finance to identify high-impact AI use cases and convert them into scalable platform capabilities.
Collaborate with Security and Architecture to ensure enterprise-grade governance, monitoring, and compliance.
Partner with Enablement to drive adoption and successful rollout across the organization.
Governance & Responsible AI
Ensure AI solutions are deployed with proper security controls, observability, access governance, and cost management.
Support the establishment of an AI Innovation Review process to evaluate new AI use cases and tool requests.
Drive reuse and consolidation to reduce tool sprawl and shadow AI.
Metrics & Business Impact
Define and track KPIs tied to AI platform adoption, agent usage, developer productivity, and measurable business value.
Partner with stakeholders to baseline and quantify ROI for AI-enabled workflows.
Continuously iterate based on usage data, feedback, and evolving AI capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
6–8 years of Product Management experience delivering technical SaaS or platform products.
Strong understanding of generative AI concepts including LLMs, APIs, agents, RAG, model governance, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience working with engineering teams on API-driven platforms or developer-focused products.
Proven ability to operate in Agile environments, manage backlogs, and deliver iterative value.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define success metrics and tie product initiatives to business outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts
for diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with enterprise AI platforms such as Gemini, OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar.
Familiarity with secure AI deployment patterns including observability, logging, guardrails, and access controls.
Experience building internal platforms or developer enablement ecosystems.
Understanding of no-code / low-code automation platforms and workflow tools.

The annual base pay for this position is: $93,600.00 - $140,400.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
