Position Summary
The Manager, Sales Operations – APCJ is a strategic partner to the APCJ Renewal Sales organization, responsible for enabling effective execution of renewal activities aligned with F5 policies and business objectives.
This role leads operational support for Renewal Sales across the region, partnering with Field Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and regional counterparts in AMER and EMEA to drive process improvement, global alignment, and consistent execution standards while accounting for regional nuances. It supports forecasting, order execution, and operational scale to enable renewal revenue retention and growth.
The role serves as the regional execution owner for the end-to-end renewal lifecycle, ensuring alignment across multiple systems to deliver a clear, accurate, and reliable view of revenue at risk and in motion.
This position requires a critical thinker and problem solver who leverages data, systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making, execution quality, and operational scale.
Primary Responsibilities
- Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report any violations of company policies
- Lead day-to-day Sales Operations activities across the APCJ region, ensuring alignment with F5 policies, processes, and Renewal Sales objectives, including contract coverage, renewal timing, and revenue retention
- Partner with APCJ and Renewal Sales leadership to support business planning, operational priorities, forecasting, and execution
- Oversee validation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring alignment to renewal contracts, entitlements, and pricing to support accurate booking and revenue attribution
- Partner with Sales Operations and Renewal Operations counterparts in AMER and EMEA to drive global alignment, consistent execution standards, and adoption of standard operating procedures while managing regional complexity
- Manage and monitor regional sales programs, processes, and initiatives, ensuring consistent execution across the renewal lifecycle including opportunity load, distribution, validation, quoting, and order readiness
- Provide communication, training, and enablement to Renewal Sales teams on tools, processes, policies, and execution standards
- Analyze operational data and sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, including reconciliation of expiring ARR with pipeline to identify revenue risk and coverage gaps
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and business reviews to provide visibility into key metrics, including Renewal Rate, GRR/NRR, price realization, cycle time, and pipeline health
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and reduction of manual effort across renewal workflows, including distributor and country-specific variations
- Coach and mentor Sales Operations team members to operate as execution owners rather than transactional support resources
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Renewal Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related function
- 5+ years of experience leading people, projects, or regional programs
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience in a high-tech, software, SaaS, cybersecurity, or networking environment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of sales and renewal processes, including order administration, quoting, forecasting, pipeline management, expiring contract coverage, renewal timing, and revenue retention drivers
- Strong understanding of complex, multi-system operating environments, with the ability to connect process, data, and business impact across functions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong experience with Salesforce (SFDC); experience with Oracle, ERP, and contract systems (e.g., Oracle OKS) and reconciling contract and opportunity data is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess ambiguity, identify root causes, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive resolution tied to business outcomes
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to operate independently
- Proven ability to leverage tools, systems, data, and automation, including AI, to improve efficiency, decision-making, and business outcomes while maintaining governance and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence across key business workflows
- Ability to work across global teams and drive alignment in processes and execution standards across regions (AMER, EMEA, APCJ)
- Passion for customer experience and delivering high-quality outcomes
