Role Overview:

F5 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to lead our AI Business Development and Partnerships in Taiwan. Taiwan is the global hub for AI infrastructure, and this role is crucial in driving strategic opportunities within the AI supply chain. You will be responsible for managing relationships with major ODMs/OEMs, AI ISVs, and Strategic Alliances, ensuring F5’s Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP) is integrated into the next generation of global AI solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ecosystem Strategic Development: Implement and execute the business plan for the Taiwan AI ecosystem, including Large SI Partners and AI ecosystem objectives
  • Strategic ODM/OEM "Design-In": Lead initiatives to establish reference architectures with major Taiwan-based manufacturers (e.g., Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron) to integrate F5 technology into high-end server export racks
  • AI ISV & Alliance Integration: Collaborate with AI Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and strategic partners (e.g., NVIDIA) to bundle security solutions and AI Guardrails into "AI-ready" technology stacks
  • Market Leadership: Position F5 as the "Intelligent Ingress Gateway" for massive GPU clusters, focusing on uptime, security, and performance for AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) providers
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Navigate internal teams (Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering) to define priorities, negotiate deal terms, and advocate for localized partner needs
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research to identify emerging trends in the AI industry, specifically focusing on Shadow AI demand drivers and customer AI readiness

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of strong background in sales or alliance partnerships within the Cloud, Security, or AI space.
  • OEM/ODM Background: Coming from an OEM background is a highly prioritized advantage given Taiwan’s global dominance in AI server builds.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of the AI ecosystem, including DPU integration, containerized environments, and the requirements for modern AI factories.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to manage complex, multi-functional relationships and close high-impact partnerships with Large SIs and global hardware leaders.
