Hi! I’m Shirley and I am the Senior Manager of Real Estate and Development. I am looking for a Real Estate Coordinator that will be responsible for administrative and procedural support for the Real Estate and Development function at Mejuri.
You will work independently and collaboratively with the internal Retail Expansion department and with various external partners including our Master Broker, outside Real Estate counsel and Landlords to ensure that our Real Estate process runs efficiently on a daily and weekly basis. You are a curious, results-oriented individual with a passion for systems and process. You have pride of ownership and recognize that perfection should not stand in the way of progress.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the research and analysis of potential retail locations to support site selection.
- Coordinate and organize documentation across internal and external partners related to lease agreements, renewals, modifications and approvals.
- Maintain accurate records in our property management, lease tracker, and deal pipeline/databases, ensuring all information is current and accessible.
- Assist with audits of real estate financial and leased obligations.
- Support the team in preparing presentations and reports for meetings with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, landlord representatives, and real estate brokers.
- Help manage the scheduling of internal committee meetings, property visits, assessments, and negotiations.
- Provide administrative support for the Real Estate and Development teams, including handling correspondence and organizing files.
- Assist in monitoring market trends and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
- Participate in special projects as needed, related to real estate operations and portfolio management.
What you'll bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or GSuite and familiarity with real estate (GIS) software is a plus.
- Understanding of retail leasing concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Eagerness to learn about the retail real estate industry and grow within the company.
- A minimum of three weeks vacation, plus personal days and three religious observance days.
