Role Overview

As the VP, Value Engineering at MindBridge, you will build and lead a world-class discipline that ensures our customers realize measurable financial, operational, and risk outcomes from our platform. You will act as a senior customer-facing strategist and operator, partnering directly with CFOs, Controllers, Audit Executives, and Finance Transformation leaders.
Your role is to define, quantify, and communicate business value across the full customer lifecycle — from pre-sales business cases, through implementation and adoption, to long-term expansion. You will set the standard for value frameworks, ROI models, and outcome benchmarks that demonstrate how MindBridge enables customers to reclaim hidden EBITDA, reduce variability, and build world-class operations across processes like Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, Liquidity, People, and Assets.
When executed successfully, your work will directly influence adoption, renewals, and growth, positioning MindBridge as the trusted partner for finance leaders embracing the future of Autonomous Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Define and Scale Value Engineering as a Discipline

• Establish robust ROI frameworks and business cases that connect MindBridge insights to measurable outcomes (fraud reduction, leakage prevention, margin protection, operational efficiency).
• Create executive-ready benchmarks, playbooks, and calculators to standardize value articulation across industries and finance processes.
• Embed value realization into every stage of the customer lifecycle, ensuring pilot-to-scale success and continuous ROI measurement.

Partner Across the Customer Journey

• Work with Sales and Solution Engineering to quantify expected value in pre-sales pursuits.
• Partner with Implementation and Delivery teams to measure realized outcomes post-deployment and ensure ROI is achieved.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to reinforce achieved value and identify expansion opportunities.

Build Customer Executive Trust

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, CAEs, Controllers, and CROs, connecting AI adoption to top-line growth, cost efficiency, and risk resilience.
• Lead executive workshops and value reviews that translate complex data into board-level business language.
• Provide frameworks and thought leadership to reinforce MindBridge’s role as the foundation for Autonomous Finance.

Drive Repeatability and Productization

• Codify customer outcomes into repeatable use cases, templates, and methodologies that can be scaled globally.
• Partner with Product and Marketing to translate value into platform features, industry benchmarks, and proof points.
• Continuously refine methodologies to amplify customer impact and accelerate time-to-value.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement

• Enable Sales, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success with value playbooks, ROI calculators, and training.
• Align with Finance, Strategy, and Operations to track realized ROI at both account and portfolio levels.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Value Engineering team, combining financial expertise, data fluency, and executive storytelling.

What You Bring

• A passion for connecting AI technology to executive outcomes that matter in the boardroom.
• Proven expertise in building ROI models, business cases, and financial frameworks that drive adoption and expansion.
• Deep knowledge of finance processes and metrics (O2C, P2P, R2R, Treasury, Tax, Liquidity, People, and Assets).
• Strong grasp of data models, AI/ML approaches, and analytics with the ability to translate technical detail into strategic outcomes.
• Executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence CFOs, Audit Executives, and Boards.
• Experience building and leading cross-functional value engineering, consulting, or finance transformation teams at scale.
• Track record of turning pilots into productionized value, avoiding the “proof of concept trap.”

Qualifications

• 15+ years in value engineering, management consulting, finance transformation, or enterprise technology.
• Demonstrated success in driving measurable customer ROI across multiple industries.
• Strong familiarity with financial metrics, operational KPIs, and board-level reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
