Role Overview As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as the data expert of the implementation process. Your role includes identifying data requirements, creating optimal data migration processes, and advising clients on how to create repeatable ETL processes. Your focus will include technical & product support, project management and business analytics. What You will Do Advise clients on how to drive standardization and best practices for data structures, quality, reuseLead the end-to-end data ETL process from a customer's ERP system into MindBridgeDevelop an understanding of ERP financial data models to automate and manage complex ETL jobsExtract, format and shape financial dataTroubleshoot, provide work-arounds, and permanent fixes to data issuesDevelop & maintain internal and external facing templates and documentation, including data requirements, process, flow diagrams, and mappingDesign data pipelines for internal analytics, management reports and dashboardsBe the data ingestion product expert and stay up-to-date on new featuresProvide feedback and influence the product decisions based on customers' needsCross-functionally collaborate with customer success, support, product management, development, and data scientists to provide innovative client solutionsProvide a data expert's lens to roadmap discussions to ensure future feature additions are software/release testing as required What You Bring Comfortable manipulating datasets with PythonComfortable with creating API requestsAre proficient with Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL and Project Management softwareHave a positive attitude, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-orientedHave excellent interpersonal communication skills and are comfortable speaking with developers, data scientists, product managers and business leadersAre focused on optimizing customer experienceChampion change and seek new and better ways to solve problemsAdjust priorities on the fly and thrive in a fast-paced environment and cultureMay be required to travel to the US, UK and EUAre willing to support client requirements that, on occasion, fall outside of normal business hours Desired education and experience: 5+ years of experience of using SQL and Python building and shaping structured/semi-structured datasets5+ year’s experience working on projects and have advanced experience with ETL, data lakes, as well as data analysis and profiling, mapping, modeling, and analytics5+ year’s experience providing customer service, consulting, or support in a software/technology company5+ years of experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, Netsuite, Sage, SAP, etc)Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including VBA and macrosComputer Science/ Accounting/Business degree or equivalent experience requiredPrevious experience in accounting/audit considered a strong asset Requirements Contingent on Employment: Fulfill requirements necessary to obtain and clear a full background check Pay Range The expected base salary range for this position is to $90,000 to $110,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, experience and competencies, and unique qualifications.
