Permanent position, 40 hour per week. Contact: (819) 975-4654, career@nordquantique.ca. Supervisor: Head of Nanofabrication. Subordinate’s: None. Collaboration: 3iT Nanofabrication Team, External C2MI staff, Hardware team, EM Design team.Our current needs: Establish full nanofabrication capability at C2Mi and bring LINQ to operational readiness, including tool acceptance, commissioning, and technology transfer from 3iT, then lead optimization of workflows to improve device yield, performance, and reliability.Key Responsibilities: Lead tool acceptance/commissioning/bring-up with stable baseline recipes and characterization. Develop, integrate, benchmark, and optimize processes for superconducting devices with clear characterization/metrology plans. Act as primary tool owner for multiple cleanroom tools ensuring uptime, PM discipline, stability, and improvement. Support process transfer from 3iT to C2Mi (documentation, training, qualification). Coordinate with C2Mi staff on goals, schedules, and infrastructure. Provide updates, identify risks, propose mitigations. Contribute to fabrication roadmap and identify gaps and CapEx needs.Education/experience: Masters or PhD in relevant field; 6+ years hands-on nanofabrication in cleanrooms; project management in academic/industrial settings; industrial semiconductor experience.Sought expertise: Core: cleanroom process development/troubleshooting; semiconductor manufacturing best practices; process integration/optimization; lot/sample tracking (MES/travelers); managing quality events with SPC and root-cause analysis; cross-contamination prevention. Preferred: superconducting circuit design concepts; techniques including lithography, metal deposition, etching, wet processing; ramping from R&D to production.Sought profile: Proactive, manages multiple projects, diplomatic with partners, organized and process-oriented, eagerness to learn, committed to advancing quantum computing.Working at Nord Quantique and Moving to Nord Quantique benefits apply.
