Our current needs: leader for the Software team to guide design, development, and maintenance of critical software enabling NQ’s quantum computers; champion vision, empower developers, promote best practices, coordinate with internal teams and partners. Responsibilities: lead day-to-day work and well-being; foster collaborative environment; mentor/recruit; coordinate initiatives aligned to roadmap; define vision for scaling software; interface with external partners. Education/experience: Master’s in CS/SE/Physics or related; 8+ years leading software projects in R&D/industry; 3+ years quantum-adjacent software; experience scaling/maturing products. Sought expertise: quantum software stack understanding; scalable system design/architecture; Python; fluent in English; intermediate French an asset. Salary: 166 000$–205 000$.
