Subordinate: None.Our current needs: Recruit a contributor to the Quantum Architecture Team to guide mid- and long-term technology roadmap for a bosonic-code-based platform, covering code design, fault tolerance, and compilation to pulses.Within the team, the candidate will: Define/lead/manage projects on new bosonic multimode codes. Develop theory of fault-tolerance for bosonic codes. Propose key demonstrations for the roadmap. Lead interactions with research partners. Maintain close watch on literature.Education/experience: PhD in quantum information/theoretical physics/mathematics/theoretical computer science; 1–5 years industry (including post-doc).Sought expertise: Quantum error correction; fault-tolerant quantum computing; bosonic codes (multimode grid codes in particular); advanced English; Circuit-QED and numerical simulation are assets; Python know-how an asset; intermediate French an asset.Sought profile: Scientific leadership; disciplined management; exceptional focus; adaptability; team-oriented; clear communication to informed non-experts.Salary: $156 850 – $185 000.
