Collaboration: Design, hardware, software, and application teams; external academic collaborators.Our current needs: Seeking a leader to guide a well-established theory team advancing bosonic fault-tolerant quantum computing (multimode bosonic codes, autonomous QEC, cQED modeling, interpreting experiments).Responsibilities: Lead and support day-to-day work of the Theory team, foster collaboration, define team structure and growth, guide research and ensure alignment with roadmap and hardware priorities.Education/experience: PhD in Physics/Quantum Information/related. 5+ years in quantum theory or quantum computing research. Experience leading theoretical efforts. Strong background in interdisciplinary collaboration and research-to-development transfer.Sought expertise: Bosonic QEC axis (QEC principles, bosonic codes/multimode grid codes, autonomous QEC/logical ops). cQED & system-level modeling axis (cQED dynamics, pulse-level control, system-level performance modeling). Core expertise: open quantum systems, numerical/analytical modeling, communication/documentation.Sought profile: Build/mentor/lead a collaborative research team; empathetic leadership; inclusive communication; manage multiple projects; strong analytical/problem-solving; commitment to quantum computing; fluent in English; French is an asset.Salary: $120 000$ – $155 000 / year.
