About Nord Quantique: We are on a mission to make quantum computing a reality using bosonic codes.Our current needs: Contribute to bridging the gap between large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computing requirements and our current bosonic QEC implementations. Join the theory and simulation team.Responsibilities: Design bosonic error-correction and computation schemes (new codes and improvements to existing codes; improve computation schemes with bosonic qubits). Numerical simulation of large-scale quantum circuits with realistic noise and control strategies. Software development to bolster R&D tools. Collaborate across teams on mission-critical projects; strong communication and organization required.Sought expertise: Research experience in quantum computing or adjacent fields; coding and numerical research; strong organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication.Preferred: Experience in QEC and FTQC, bosonic codes, cQED, algorithms, quantum control; software best practices; HPC; work with experimental teams.Sought profile: Adaptability; team-oriented mindset; thorough/systematic; prioritization/coordination.Salary: $115,000 – $135,000.
