About Nord Quantique: Advancing quantum computing with bosonic hardware.Our current needs: Drive near-term quantum applications tailored to our bosonic platform. Engage with partners to identify use cases, benchmark via simulation/hardware, and define practical utility. Develop hybrid CV-DV algorithms and contribute to internal tooling.Key Responsibilities: Lead projects on applications (chemistry, materials optimization, etc.). Develop/adapt algorithms for bosonic qubits including hybrid CV-DV methods. Compile circuits down to pulse-level and run experiments with experimental team. Simulate under realistic noise models for performance/resource estimation. Collaborate with partners to co-design and benchmark use cases. Contribute to internal tools for simulation/analysis/benchmarking.Sought expertise: MSc in physics/CS/math or equivalent experience. Expertise in quantum algorithms and NISQ devices (significant asset) or experience in bosonic systems/CV quantum computing.Preferred: Practical near-term QEC implementations, FTQC, bosonic codes; applying QC to chemistry/materials/optimization; HPC; working with experimental teams; coding best practices; hybrid CV-DV algorithms; variational algorithms and quantum/classical optimization; analog-style applications; simulation/benchmarking in noisy environments; compilation/scheduling/pulse-level optimization.Sought profile: Adaptability; team-oriented; thorough/systematic; prioritization/coordination; strong organization/communication in English.Salary: $129,000 – $145,000.
