Lead experimental campaigns and deepen scientific understanding; develop new methods and hardware.Responsibilities: Define, lead, and manage experimental campaigns to deliver roadmap thrusts. Benchmark QEC and gate performance. Implement novel QEC codes and gate schemes with Theory. Propose/generate/validate calibration routines. Analyze data and provide feedback to EM Design and Theory. Onboard and mentor team members.Education/experience: PhD in experimental physics (quantum computing, superconducting circuits or related). Minimum 5 years industry (including postdoc).Sought expertise: Led and delivered experimental campaigns; circuit QED; practical QEC; Python and git best practices; advanced English. Assets: bosonic codes; superconducting circuit design; gate calibration/benchmarking; intermediate French.Salary: $168 500 – $196 000. Vacation: 5 weeks per year.
