Theoretical Quantum Physicist.Our current needsWe are seeking a talented individual to devise pathways to bridge the gap between large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computing and our current experimental implementation of quantum error correction based on bosonic codes. You will design bosonic error-correction and computation schemes, simulate large-scale quantum circuits under realistic noise models, contribute to software development, and collaborate across teams.Sought expertise: research experience in quantum computing or adjacent fields; coding and numerical research; strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred expertise: near-term QEC implementations, bosonic codes, circuit QED, quantum algorithms, high-performance computation, software best practices.Salary: $115,000 – $135,000.
