We are currently seeking a competent and proactive Lighting Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support for our lighting solutions.

With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, this role requires functional electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our products. This position involves regular travel within the designated region to assist at various client sites. The candidate may also participate in new client installations and system activations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage customer tickets for all support (Levels 1 to 3).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex on-site technical issues, including power issues, wiring faults, and performance discrepancies. Conduct in-depth diagnostics and take necessary measures for resolution.
  • Support the project team and ensure follow-up on installations and commissioning.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance, regular inspections, and client visits (1 time/week) to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Clients visit 1/week as part of the flexible work mode, and expect approximately 2 to 3 times per week or more at the client site during key seasons.

What you need to join our team:

  • Education: High school diploma or technical training in electricity or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Information Technology (IT), networking, and electrical circuits.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (required for customer support outside Quebec) and French (essential for the Montreal workplace).
  • Mobility: Valid driver's license and passport for regular travel to Ontario and the United States.
  • Aptitudes: Ability to work at heights occasionally and a strong orientation toward problem-solving.

Additional skills and qualities:

  • Previous experience in lighting or electrical troubleshooting or electrical work.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting control systems.
