We are seeking a top-notch Corporate Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Accounting and Operations Team. The primary responsibility will be overseeing the billings and collection efforts for Corporate Sales, Partnerships and Leasing agreements.
The Opportunity:
Responsible for leading the daily operations of billing and collections for corporate sales that includes: group sales, corporate housing, customer deposits, revenue share agreement, landlord agreements, etc. to ensure proper billing and collection efforts
Communicate with sales and operations regarding billing discrepancies, collection concerns and questions
Assist with resolution of complex billing issues and act as a point of contact
Work with Senior Revenue Accountant to review revenue and analyze AR aging to determine bad debt reserve as it pertains to corporate sales AR.
Partner with sales ops, legal, field operations, accounting and all other applicable teams to develop and improve processes for invoicing and to anticipate changing business requirements.
Partner with account managers to solve user inquiries related to implementation, billing, and collections
Coordinating and participating with the billing and collections policy development, process improvements, and system enhancements as necessary
Develop and maintain desktop procedures
Perform month-end close process and reconciliations
Team member on billing and collection system implementation projects
Assist with internal and external audit support
Work with cross-functional teams on projects related to order-to-cash and revenue operations
Responsible for onboarding and training new team members
Ad hoc requests as needed
Who we look for:
3+ years of relevant accounting or operations (Accounts receivable, billings, credit, and collections) experience, with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance preferred
Experience with customer service and client communication
Netsuite or large ERP knowledge is highly preferred
Must be detail oriented - attention to detail is critical
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Google workspace experience (Google Sheets, Google Docs)
Team player with positive and agile attitude required
Must be able to work independently and organize work efficiently
General knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition guidance preferred
Hospitality industry experience a plus
