JOB SUMMARY:

In partnership with cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, sales, marketing and customer success, the Senior/Lead Product Manager advocates for the product, company, and the end user. Inspires all Higher Logic teams to work towards achieving a shared product vision and orchestrates day-to-day execution of the product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Represents the voice of the customer to the development team throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Responsible for the backlog of one or more named solutions and/or features.
• Writes epics and user stories that clearly articulate the impact to the user and the acceptance criteria.
• Participates with Engineering, Support and UX to validate, prioritize and resolve issues.
• Active participates in all scrum ceremonies; leads backlog grooming and sprint planning
• Facilitates and manages release enablement workstreams, including crafting internal and external release communications.
• Collaborates on and leads customer discovery efforts, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definition and requirement writing for new features, enhancements, and product initiatives.
• Partners with, leads and develops Product Managers as needed.
• Conducts all business in accordance with Higher Logic policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Depth of understanding in one or more Higher Logic solutions
• Knowledge of Association and/or Corporate Customer business models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinker, able to process and synthesize information, often in quickly evolving and ambiguous situations
• Comfortable organizing competing priorities and using data to make decisions
• Demonstrated collaborator with proven track record of working effectively in cross functional teams and workstreams
• Strong work ethic, motivated by achieving results and constantly seeking to improve
