Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect

We are seeking a bright, dynamic Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer to join our team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how clients adopt and maximize use of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll be interacting with prospects alongside our Sales leader, collaborating on sales strategies that are rooted in Vantage’s robust product functionality. You’ll be counted on as a technical expert, and an important voice of the customer in roadmap development. Once prospects are signed, you’ll serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as they transition into onboarding with our world-class Account Management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Software Demonstrations: Serve as Vantage’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for prospects and new clients on the functionality of the Vantage orchestration platform. Demo, answer questions, and share feedback with the Product team based on discussions in the market.
  • Technical Discovery: Partner with Sales to understand prospects’ technical composition today, their unmet needs, pain points, and goals. Collaborate with Sales to determine client-Vantage fit.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate to design tailored solutions that minimize custom work, maximize existing capabilities, and ensure efficient and effective onboarding for new clients and upsells of existing clients.
  • Demonstration Environment Setup: Configure and maintain demo environments, utilizing your coding and scripting skills to simulate real-world scenarios and custom solutions that align with client needs.
  • Technical Support for Sales: Work closely with the sales team to craft compelling presentations, respond to technical RFPs, and ensure that prospects have a clear understanding of Vantage’s capabilities.
  • Seamless Account Launch: From initial technical discovery to full account activation, you’ll ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process, including scoping for any necessary API configurations, custom coding, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to influence product development and deliver outstanding solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Training & Documentation: As needed, provide training to client teams and internal stakeholders. Document technical processes and solutions for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python/React preferred. You should have the ability to configure demo environments and build tailored solutions.
  • Retail Media & AdTech Knowledge: Strong understanding of the retail media ecosystem, including demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and programmatic advertising workflows.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solutions Design: Experience designing and implementing technical solutions, preferably in SaaS, AdTech, or Retail Media platforms.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, from discovery through deployment.
  • Sales Support: Experience collaborating with sales teams to build compelling demos, respond to RFPs, and showcase the business value of technical solutions.
  • Problem Solver: Resourceful and creative when tackling technical challenges, always focused on finding the best solution for the client.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Enthusiastic about working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
