Job Description
As a People Operations (HR) Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the recruitment and HR functions of our team. You will work closely with the Lead Recruiter and VP of People & Culture to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and employees, and keep our systems and processes running smoothly. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy helping others succeed, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
Recruitment Coordination
Draft and edit job descriptions to reflect hiring needs and align with brand and tone.
Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars for hiring teams and candidates.
Prepare offer letters and support short-term recruitment objectives (e.g. sourcing, pipeline updates).
Provide administrative support to the recruitment team and help track hiring metrics.
Take ownership of select roles from the Lead Recruiter, managing them full-cycle or supporting the process as needed.
HR Administration & Operations
Support employee onboarding by coordinating new hire systems, first-day logistics, and orientation sessions.
Coordinate offboarding activities, including tech return, exit paperwork, and compliance steps.
Maintain and regularly update employee data in the HRIS and related systems.
Assist with benefits tracking, leave requests, payroll inputs, and document filing.
Act as a point of contact for employee questions about policies, procedures, and HR tools.
Provide day-to-day admin support including meeting scheduling, reports, and team calendar maintenance.
Process HR and recruitment-related invoices and assist with tracking the department budget.
Assist the VP of People & Culture with ad hoc projects, internal communication drafts, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table:
1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to both recruitment and HR operations.
University degree and/or post-graduate certificate in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong analytical mindset with experience working with data to support reporting, decision-making, and process improvements.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to supporting teams.
Comfortable working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
