Job Description

As a Senior Robotics Sales Manager at Vention…

You’ll build and lead a world-class account management organization focused on our largest enterprise customers. Your mission: transform these relationships into strategic, multi-plant, multi-region programs, while coaching and scaling the team that drives this impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate as the CEO of your business; action oriented, builder mentality and accountable to results.
  • Meet and exceed targets; focused on new customer acquisition and expansion; forecast accurately and avoid surprises.
  • Drive sales of Vention’s product portfolio for specific Enterprise accounts; with a particular focus on Applications and complex projects.
  • Skilled at selling hardware, software and professional services.
  • Own and drive all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting (Inbound / outbound), discovery, qualification, proposal creation, negotiation and closing. Creating Win/Win deals
  • Highly experienced in walking the shop floor and assessing potential automation / robotics opportunities. Acts as a customer consultant to suggest the best approach and where suitable aligning Vention products to achieve the customers objectives.
  • Establish long term partnerships with enterprise accounts; negotiate Master Supply Agreements. Act as the trusted advisor to customers from the Plant floor to the Exec team
  • Cross functional collaboration: partner with BDRs and Inside Sales teams to develop business; Robot Alliance Partners and Systems Integrators to develop a strong Channel component to your business; with Application Engineers, Solution Architects, Commissioning and Customer Success to ensure a world class customer experience - making customers happy for life.
  • Maximize business within your assigned accounts and help grow sales within your areas of expertise, eg: industry sectors and verticals
  • Collaborate with the customers senior executives, applications, deployment, maintenance and automation teams to enhance the Vention Product Roadmap.
  • Coach, train and educate members of the Vention sales teams on technical selling of application products
  • Traveling : 30-40% of the time

You’ll bring:

  • Hardworking, driven, energetic, competitive, team oriented and always eager to learn and grow.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing automation and/or robotics sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
  • Excellent communication and writing skills; polished and compelling. At ease presenting to clients at all levels of seniority.
  • Strong combination of commercial and technical acumen with a deep focus on customer success
  • You show the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, that changes and is dynamic
  • You have a deep interest in innovation, robotics and AI
  • A remarkable track record of achievement
  • A dynamic, entrepreneurial builder who is comfortable with change and ambiguity, capable of building scale via being a skilled collaborator and consensus maker.
