Job Description
The Core Mission of the Role
- Pre-sales Excellence: Lead a team of Application Engineers to turn client requirements into validated 3D designs and technical proposals
- After-sales Accountability: Oversee the transition from "ordered" to "operating," ensuring the successful deployment, commissioning, and long-term technical health of client systems across EMEA
We are seeking a colleague to collaboratively establish a sustainable, high-growth team focused on introducing innovative automation solutions across the European market.
Pre-Sales Key Responsibilities
- Coach, support and develop a team of Solution Architects and Application Engineers
- Provide comprehensive and in-depth technical support to the regional sales team throughout the entire customer lifecycle, specifically focusing on pre-sales activities for complex customer projects
- Represent the company towards key customers
After-Sales Key Responsibilities
- Coach, support and develop a Team Leader Deployment and CS and his team
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Your Profile
- 10+ Years in Industrial Automation / Robotics: Deep knowledge of the EMEA manufacturing landscape. Experience with cobots (UR, Fanuc, ABB), motion control, and PLC/Logic programming is non-negotiable.
- Technical Leadership in a Fast-Growth Environment: Proven track record of scaling engineering teams in a high-growth tech or industrial company.
- The "Hybrid" Skillset: Evidence of managing both Technical Sales (Pre-sales) and Post-Sales (Field Engineering/Support). You must understand how to balance "selling the dream" with "delivering the reality."
- Project Lifecycle Management: Experience overseeing "turnkey" projects—from initial napkin sketch to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and on-site commissioning.
- Language Skills: English is essential; fluency in German or French is a massive advantage for the EMEA market.
- Other soft skills like commercial acumen, cross-functional navigation, client empathy and leadership skills are more than welcome.
